I am a ceramicist based in Michigan. I work in functional wheel thrown pottery and hand building techniques to create interactions of intimacy and connection.

I am interested in exploring the process of clay as a material from harvest, creation, and reclamation. As a malleable three dimensional material, the possibilities of clay to communicate, connect, and engage are endless through a visual language of expression and gesture. I explore the medium in relationship to the earth and the handling of land, water, and life focusing on water ontologies and management, both prevalent in clay work and process.
